Week 5: Captain America
Objective: Be the first around the board
Short-&-Easy Directions: Basic Spin-and-move game mechanics. Each player has two pieces (one for Cap and one for the Falcon). Spin and land on an Avenger square and move ahead X amount of spaces. Spin and land on an enemy square and be stuck there until you spin a pre-set number. First to get both pieces to the Satellite Lookout wins.
Synopsis: I really liked it. It was a classic board game. Just like the Six Million Dollar Man the game was easy to set up and to figure out. Gameplay is simple enough that kids of all ages could play. Its a very fast moving game, it only took about 10 minutes for me to beat my wife (not physically, calm down). You can only win the game by landing by exact count on Satellite Lookout. This makes it a little more challenging to wrap up the game and allows your opponent to catch up. I was winning by a significant amount
but because I couldn't spin a 4, my wife started to challenge me.
The graphics and artwork of the game are awesome. I love the purples and pink that they used for the background of the game board, not a color scheme you would expect for Captain America.
Winner: Husband
Record: Wife - 2 ; Husband - 3
